Buster Posey wins NL Player of the Week, beats out Chase Utley, Dodgers

Buster Posey has begun his assault on the National League and that will get him a nice looking watch (I’m assuming it’s nice looking, MLB has so much money) since it started last week, and in the last seven days, he has put up fantastic numbers, only really being outdone by the Indians’ Jason Kipnis, who pulled in the AL Player of the Week award. The numbers for Posey and some other competitors in the last seven days, per Fangraphs:
- Posey — 4 HR, .500/.560/1.182, .708 wOBA, 376 wRC+
- Chase Utley — 4 HR, .400/.471/.867, .556 wOBA, 266 wRC+
- Hanley Ramirez — 2 HR, .455/.500/.773, .534 wOBA, 256 wRC+
- Yasiel Puig — 1 HR, .464/.483/.714, .512 wOBA, 240 wRC+
