Marco Scutaro Taking Batting Practice

Marco Scutaro is on the field in Atlanta today. Granted, he’s not in the lineup, or expected to be for a few days at least, but according to the SF Gate, Scutaro was taking batting practice on the field today.
"when asked how his four or five turns in the cage felt, he shook his hand as if to say, “So-so.”"
I hope this is a good sign that he’s feeling somewhat good enough to try out the hand during batting practice. “So-so” doesn’t seem as hopeful as I’d like, but the fact that he’s taking swings has to be encouraging to fans and the team alike. In the meantime, Nick Noonan and Tony Abreu is filling in at second base.
