They say all good things come to an end and I guess for me, that end is now.

After four plus years at the helm of Frisco Fastball/Around the Foghorn, it’s with great sadness that I say goodbye.

It seems just like yesterday I spoke to FanSided co-owner Adam Best and told him I’d be more than happy to help assist in making then Frisco Fastball one of the top San Francisco Giant sites on the net. It wasn’t meant to be a permanent stop as my duties were at the Sacramento Kings FanSided site, A Royal Pain, but I fell in love with the blog, the eventual staff and you readers.

In the years that have gone by, we’ve had our work featured on prominent sites like Deadspin and the New York Times. I’ve been able to experience two World Series Championships as editor. It couldn’t have been a more perfect ride.

While I will continue to remain editor at A Royal Pain, I will be relinquishing my duties here to become an assistant editor on the FanSided.com front page. You’ll be able to find my work there as well at the aforementioned A Royal Pain.

The news will continue to flow here at Around the Foghorn as our amazing staff will continue to provide you some of the best Giants coverage on the net. To any prospective writers and Giant fans looking to expand their horizons, I highly recommend you fill out an application and join the good folks at FanSided.

A huge thank you to the staff, both current and former. AtF wouldn’t be what it is without their hard work and dedication. A big thank you to the helpful friends at FanSided who’ve helped me over the years and of course, a massive thank you to you, the readers for supporting us and the site.
