All Star Ballot’s out! Time to vote in ALL THE #SFGIANTS

This is a direct link to the ballot where you will vote in each and every San Francisco Giant that is on that list. Make sure you click the San Francisco Giants logo, and then just go to town on the voting. I am selecting them to play the Detroit Tigers because why not? That seems like fun, and to do that in New York’s Citi Field would be pretty interesting. You may be wondering whom you are giving your twenty-five votes to (for one e-mail address), and here are those names:
Pitchers will be decided on by the coaching staffs and player votes, and so as a Giants fan, you have a choice to either be a baseball fan or a promoter of the “everybody hated us Giants fans last July and that worked out pretty well” crowd. Posey got a little over 7.6 million votes last year, and that was the leading vote tally for National League players. You might remember Pablo Sandoval getting 1.6 million more votes than David Wright, bringing about these great tweets from Mets GM Sandy Alderson that would elicit a “U mad, bro?” response in this day and age:
Wright vs.Sandoval: A city of 8 million was outvoted by a city of 800,000.

ASG election of "Kung Fu Panda" shows the value of a cute nickname. Surprised Giants fans didn't elect a "ball dude" to start at 3B.

How great would it be for something like this to happen again? Pretty great, if you ask me. The fan vote really shouldn’t be as big of a part of this as it is, but wuddyagonnado.
Don’t forget that Bruce Bochy will get to choose some of his pitchers, so don’t be surprised if he brings along some of pitchers for the ride to New York. That will also be excellent because of all the rabble rabble that will inevitably follow the selection of Barry Zito to an All Star Game in 2013. So create all those e-mail addresses, and get voting!
