Every four years the World Baseball Classic comes around and this year, the final stop in the multi-week competition is at our beautiful AT&T Park.
Tickets aren’t exactly what I’d call cheap for most, but if you just want to say you experienced the WBC firsthand, you can do so for a very reasonable $8 bucks – assuming you don’t mind sitting atop the outer-bands of the park.
I was lucky enough to attend the semi-finals and Championship game in 2006 and it was quite the experience, so I highly recommend it for any baseball fan, even if you have no vested interest in any of the participating countries.
Angel Pagan and his Team Puerto Rico will take on Japan tonight at 6PM while Bam-Bam and Team Netherlands will play Santiago Casilla and his Team Dominican Republic tomorrow at 6PM with the winning teams meeting for the WBC Championship Monday night.
Tickets are available on the Giants’ website.
