The San Francisco Giants’ marketing department is continually praised throughout the sporting industry for their creative and unique ways which includes some of the best game day promotions throughout professional baseball. Fans line the gates of AT&T Park over and over throughout the season to get their hands on some of the garb and like always, fans will be treated to some pretty neat items this season.

Earlier today, the Giants released their much anticipated promotion schedule and no longer will you have to stress over getting your favorite bobblehead or gnome – but it comes at a slight cost.

Unlike previous years, where only the first 15,000 or 20,000 fans were able to come home with a new toy – the Giants have increased the quantities of items this season (many times giving out 30-40K) but there will only be five gnome and bobblehead giveaways combined – the highlight being the Buster Posey MVP bobblehead which will be given out to the first 40,000 on April 6th against the St. Louis Cardinals.

In addition to the Posey bobblehead, other highlights include a replica World Series ring on Sunday April 7th against the aforementioned Cardinals, a Giants World Champions banner on Sunday, April 21st against the San Diego Padres and the Sergio Romo and Tim Lincecum gnomes – Romo on Sunday, May 5th (ESPN game) and Tiny Tim on Sunday, August 25th.
