Yes, Jean Machi – who tossed 6.2 innings of September baseball for the orange and black gets a review, just like anybody else who appeared on the active roster.

The native Venezuelan didn’t get too many opportunities during his short stint with the big boys, but did solid in the small amount of work he did get. Two rough outings – one against Arizona and one against the Dodgers in his final appearance of the season doomed his statistics, but in those eight appearances, Machi emerged unscathed six of the times.

Soon to be 31, there isn’t a lot of time for Machi to catch on in a bigger role but the heavyset bullpen arm could find his way back to the Giants’ pen if a few injuries occur.

It’s hard to judge a player off of 6.2 innings of work, so we’ll give Mini-Pablo an INCP for his short time in the Big Show.
