San Francisco Giants Looking To Extend Santiago Casilla
By Bryan Rose

With Brian Wilson now a free agent, the San Francisco Giants are looking to keep their solid bullpen intact, which could start with an extension to the strong-armed Santiago Casilla.
San Francisco Giants GM Brian Sabean recently told Alex Pavlovac that he and Casilla’s agent had opened talks on a multi-year deal, though there was nothing concrete as of yet:
"Giants not active in trades, Sabean said. Bullpen could be a stand-pat thing. Casilla could sign multiyear. They’ve had conceptual talks."
Casilla, despite a couple ill-timed meltdowns, was very solid this season and now enters his final year of arbitrational eligibility, so a multi-year deal would buy out at least one year of free agency if they could come to an agreement.
