Arizona Diamondbacks Showing Interest In Aubrey Huff

Because hey – when you’re days away from turning 36, coming off an injury plagued season where you only appeared in 52 games (mostly for a lone plate appearance) and had a woeful 2011 season prior to that, you’re a hot commodity.
Whatever the D’Backs see in Huff, I don’t know, but according to Jack Magruder, the D’Backs have interest in him as a bench bat:
"In need of a backup corner IF, #Dbacks have made contact with Aubrey Huff, source said."
Somewhere, there’s a joke to be made about Huff and contact in there, but I prefer to stick with the old addage;
