San Francisco Giants Bring On Guillermo Quiroz & Omar Javier
By Bryan Rose

“Beefing” up their minor league system, har har, the Giants added two more players to their roster for oganizational depth recently, signing both Guillermo Quiroz and Omar Javier to minor league deals.
Quiroz has batted just .206/.265/.272 over parts of eight big league seasons and while he’ll get an invite to Spring Training, he’s nothing more than depth in the minors.
Javier most likely holds the same fate as his ugly 1.73 WHIP and 64/56 K/BB ratio in 94 innings for two different independent league teams this past Summer doesn’t exactly have a ringing endorsement attached to it.
