San Francisco Giants Re-Sign Pitcher Eric Hacker
By Bryan Rose

Much like the addition of Fabio Castillo, the Giants continue to bulk up their minor league pitching staffs and this time re-signed Eric Hacker, who earlier this offseason opted for free agency after the Giants waived him.
Hacker appeared in four games for the Giants this season, tossing 9.2 inning en route to a 5.59 ERA, thanks to a couple rough bullpen outings against the San Diego Padres. Hacker’s lone start of the season also came against the Padres at AT&T Park where he gave up three earned runs in six innings of work, striking out seven in the process.
The minor league deal is expected to include a Spring Training invite for the soon to be 30 year old arm.
