Tim Lincecum threw a complete game 3 hit shutout. This was one of the few games where Lincecum was good this year. He also had that collision at the plate tagging out Billingsly. This game was the third straight shutout over the Dodgers. Clearly, this was a turning point in the season for the Giants as the three game sweep of the Dodgers tied them atop the NL West.
