The San Francisco Giants did it again, as I’m sure you know if you are reading this. The 2012 belongs to the Giants and their fans, and once again, there is going to be a kick-ass parade in San Francisco. The parade will be held Wednesday, Oct 31, 2012 at 11am. You read that right. A World Series Parade, in San Francisco, on Halloween. Things couldn’t be scripted any better. The parade will start at Washington & Montgomery, head over to and down Market St, ending at the Civic Center. (San Francisco World Series Parade Map)
In 2010, if you remember, there was said to be 1 million people there. I’m sure there will be some that skip out after being through it once, however, there will probably be a lot of people (like me) who regrets not making it last time and will be there come hell or high water. On top of that, you’ll have your otherwise crowded and cooky city ready for Halloween. It sounds to me like a pretty interesting mix.
So there you have it, details on the World Series Parade. I am hoping to get a good idea on the best place to watch the parade, so if anyone here has feedback, we’d love to hear it! In the meantime, my plan is to get to the Civic Center as early as possible (maybe Tuesday, even), and be ready in my Orange and Black.View Larger Map
