According to Andrew Baggarly’s (of CSN Bay Area) iPhone, there is a 100% percent chance of rain today in Queens, New York. While Major League Baseball doesn’t consider Apple products to be a good predicter of games being postponed or not, my gut tells me that the iPhone is correct. And now, the game has been officially postponed due to inclement weather.
Just for fun, here’s the Giants’ lineup for today:
Pagan CF, Cabrera LF, Sandoval 3B, Posey C, Schierholtz RF, Belt 1B, Burriss 2B, Crawford SS, Lincecum P.
They would have been facing right hander, Dillon Gee (1-1, 2.92).
According to Henry Schulman of the San Francisco Chronicle, if there is a double header tomorrow, Lincecum might pitch the night game.
