Pablo Sandoval Undergoes Lasik Eye Surgery

By Bryan Rose

According to Yahoo! Sports’ Tim Brown, the Panda underwent a routine Lasik Eye operation earlier this week to remove a slight astigmatism. Pablo has worn a variety of particular contacts (and prescription goggles if you recall) over the past few years since the condition was found, but evidently tired of the hassle and went for the full operation.

A multitude of elite hitters have underwent similar operations (some for medical reasons, others just because of the baseball related benefits) such as Todd Helton and Tony Gwynn and the majority have raved about the results and how much easier they see the ball.

Hard to improve on Pablo Sandoval‘s numbers, but, it’ll be interesting to see if the operation made any difference at all.
