Linkin’ Round The Cove – 4/5

By Bryan Rose

Paul over at Stadium Journey spent some time at Scottsdale Stadium during the Giants 2011 Spring and came back pretty impressed with the experience, overall.

The lovely Sooze and Marea from Babes Love Baseball put our own B-Weezy under their Voodoo Sabermetrics microscope and the end result? Typical Brian Wilson – pure unadulterated insanity.

Yesterday evening I recieved a package from the good folks at Triumph Books containing a few San Francisco Giant themed novels/books of which included Andrew Baggarly’s “A Band Of Misfits: Tales of the 2010 San Francisco Giants“, “100 Things Giants Fans Should Know & Do Before They Die” and “The Greatest Game Ever Pitched: Juan Marichal, Warren Spahn, and the Pitching Duel of the Century“. All three look fantastic – and I’m especially excited to read Bagg’s Band Of Misfits – so check them out if you have some time. And speaking of Baggs – if you’ve already got your copy of Misfits and you’ll be in San Diego this afternoon for the Padres/Giants tilt, Baggs will be over at the Tin Fish at about 1:30 to sign copies (and he’ll have a few on hand if you don’t have one yet).

A solid piece from the LA Times reflecting on the poor safety issues around the league and at Dodger Stadium.

Some fantastic San Francisco Giant themed graphics by The City Graphics. Really amazing stuff.

Mark Ulriksen debuts his newest piece: Your 2010 World Champion San Francisco Giants. Stunning piece.
