Giants Looking Into Kiko Calero – Re-sign Juan Uribe

By Bryan Rose

First off – if you haven’t hard by now, the Giants finally re-signed super utility man Juan Uribe to a small contract in which terms were not disclosed. It’s believed however that the deal will be a one year deal with an option on the second season.

And now with Uribe and DeRosa signed up for the black and orange, the Giants are looking to bolster their bullpen as CSN BayArea is reporting that the Giants are looking into ex-Marlins reliever Kiko Calero. Calero, 34, posted an impressive 1.95 ERA, 1.10 WHIP and 69/30 K/BB ratio in 60 innings this season for the Marlins and he’d make a nice addition to an already solid Giants pen.
