San Francisco Giants: Complete list of notable 2015-2016 free agents

It sure is tough watching the 2015 MLB Playoffs and not seeing the Orange and Black represent. Nonetheless, the San Francisco Giants will begin their pursuance of another playoff run in the upcoming months via free agency.

Throughout the past few weeks, there have been numerous rumors floating around over whether or not San Francisco will target Los Angeles Dodgers pitcher Zack Grienke, New York Mets outfielder Yoenis Cespedes, and even Washington Nationals pitcher Jordan Zimmermann. Who are all fine and dandy, but the off-season has never gone as expected for VP Brian Sabean and GM Bobby Evans.

Call to the Pen

Remember just last off-season when San Francisco was supposedly in the lead for top free agent starting pitchers Jon Lester and James Shields? How about in 2013 when the Giants were reported have been listening to trade offers for veterans Tim Lincecum and Hunter Pence?

The point is that the free agency period is a wild goose chase and experts may predict, but nobody really knows what is moving where and who is staying put.
