Nothing To Do This Weekend? Book a Phoenix Hotel And See The Giants At Chase Field

The Giants will be on the road this weekend, visiting divisional foe Arizona in a weekend series at Chase Field. The Diamondbacks have been struggling quite a bit this year, mired in a 3-7 slump over the last ten games currently, and will enter the series a with a 31-45 record. The Giants are currently fourteen games ahead of the Diamondbacks as they sit atop the NL West Division, situated four games ahead of second place Los Angeles.
For Giants fans looking for something to do this weekend, one certainly valid option would be to make the quick flight (or road trip) down to Phoenix for a game. Chase Field is renowned for being one of the better ballparks in Major League Baseball with both great views of the field and exciting entertainment off of it (who can argue that their swimming pool in right field isn’t one of the better lounge areas in all of MLB)? We spoke with travel site HipMunk.com to see what it would cost for fans looking for a quick weekend getaway.
The best Phoenix hotels on Hipmunk are listed as the Omni Scottsdale Resort and Spa, The Sheraton Phoenix Downtown Hotel, the Scottsdale Resort, the Westin Phoenix Downtown, as well as the JW Marriot Camelback Inn Scottsdale Resort. For fans who want to catch both Saturday and Sunday’s games, you can grab a room at the Omni – a five-star hotel – for as low as $159. HipMunk also provides you with a “Overall Guest Score” which rates several different factors such as the ambiance, wellness, and location. The Omni has great remarks for all, including 89% of reviewers “enjoying the nightlife.”
If you’re looking for the cheapest hotel option for Saturday night, the Scottsdale Resort has rooms available for as low as $81. And you won’t need to sacrifice any enjoyment elsewhere, as the overall guest score for the Scottsdale Resort is still a cool 4.1 according to HipMunk.
So take a quick look at your calendar and if you aren’t doing anything this weekend, see the first place Giants in enemy territory and cheer them on!
