Red, Padres & Mets Highlight Giants List Of Top Priced June Tickets

The San Francisco Giants have the best record in baseball at 33-19, and their May performance has a lot to do with that. With only a few days remaining, they have gone 16-8 and have only allowed 77 runs. Only the Oakland A’s have allowed less. Next up is June, and tickets are relatively affordable this month. The average price for SF Giants tickets price for the month of June at AT&T Park is $65.21.

Below is a compiling of the top five most expensive games in June for the San Francisco Giants as compiled by TiqIQ.

1) 6/29 vs. Cincinnati Reds | Avg. Price: $121.65 | Get-in Price: $16

The most expensive game on the list is one of just two with an average price over $100 for the month. A lot of that has to do with a growth chart poster given out as part of a promotion before the game, and Pixar Day. The growth chart features Brandon Belt and Brandon Crawford, while the Pixar Day has a Giants’ themed Woody from Toy Story bobblehead, as well as the presentation of a Pixar movie at the park. The average price is up 86 percent to $121.65 with a get-in price that’s the third highest on the list at $16.

2) 6/25 vs. San Diego Padres | Avg. Price: $109.97 | Get-in Price: $8

There is no promotion scheduled for the second game on the list. Tickets to the San Diego Padres game are averaging over $100 without any boost, despite the Padres being the fourth team in the division. But while tickets are up 69 percent, averaging $109.97 for the Wednesday afternoon game, the get-in price is one of the lowest on the list at $8.

3) 6/24 San Diego Padres | Avg. Price: $96.22 | Get-in Price: $4

The only series against the Padres this month is featured twice on this list, this time it’s a Tuesday night affair. There are no promotions for either game this series, the only series to make this list without the help of a promotion. It makes sense then that these two games have had the lowest get-in price, with Tuesday’s game even lower at $4. Overall the game is up 48 percent, averaging $96.22.

4) 6/28 vs. Cincinnati Reds | Avg. Price: $83.55 | Get-in Price: $28

The Reds series coincides with All Brandon weekend, and there is another promotion featuring Belt and Crawford. Bobbleheads of both players will be given out, and that’s led to the highest get-in price of the month at $28. Tickets are averaging $83.55, 28 percent above the month’s average.

5) 6/8 vs. New York Mets | Avg. Price: $82.97 | Get-in Price: $27

The Mets are in town early in the month, and the game has the second highest get-in price at $27. That doesn’t have a lot to do with the Mets, who had the worst May record in baseball, and have one of the worst records overall. It’s another promotion that helps raise the price, with Giants fans receiving a Hello Kitty plush doll at the game. The average price is 27 percent above the month’s average at $82.97.
