The Giants were impressive today against the Dodgers, especially in the first two innings. The Giants beat the Dodgers 8-4 and hits by Brandon Hicks and Michael Morse were a few of the many highlights of the game, especially the six-run first inning.
The Giants’ 6-run rally was their biggest 1st inning ever at Dodger Stadium. They scored 8 in 1st on 9-4-58 at LA Coliseum. (per STATS Inc.)

The Giants are 4-1 in their first five games and have scored 25 of their 31 runs with two outs. This is something we didn’t see happen much in 2013.

J.C. Gutierrez throws hard.
Juan Gutierrez was not impressive in first game, but he just blew three 96 mph fastballs past Kemp to strand runner at third. #SFGiants
