Juan Perez made a spectacular catch in his MLB debut. He didn’t stop there with the defensive greatness. In this game, from June 17, 2013 against the San Diego Padres at AT&T Park, Perez threw a cannon from center field to nab Logan Forsythe at third base. In a tied game in the 9th, that would have allowed for the Padre runners at first and third base, getting the out at third base was big.
The Padres ended up winning the game in the end, but not without being pushed into extra innings. The Padres beat the Giants 5-3 in 13 innings.
