Today, Ramon Ramirez’s wild ride as a San Francisco Giant continued as he and the Giants agreed on a minor league deal which will send Ramirez to Fresno – at least for the time being.

Ramirez, who played a pretty significant role in the Giants’ 2010 World Championship was traded along with Andres Torres to the New York Mets in exchange for Angel Pagan prior to last season, but the reliever struggled which lead to the Metropolitan’s moving on. Ramirez then signed with the Giants this offseason before being granted his seemingly odd release just a few days ago (he did have an out-clause), but is now back after re-signing again today. Got that all? Good.

As stated earlier, he’ll report to Fresno and play with the Grizzlies until a spot opens up in the Giants’ bullpen.
