FanSided Player Of The Year Awards

Last but not least in the annual FanSided end of year awards, we run down the Player Of The Year – better known as the League MVP.

For the American League, it was one of the tightest races out of all the awards, but the Boston Red Sox’s Jacoby Ellsbury came out on top, just edging out the Toronto Blue Jays Jose Bautista. The Detroit Tigers Miguel Cabrera came in a close third.

In the National League, it was a blowout with Matt Kemp destroying the second placing Ryan Braun. Carlos Beltran (27th place) and Pablo Sandoval (31st) also received votes.
