In case you missed the, the Giants got swept by the Reds in Cincinnati. Blame it on the heat, the Reds pitching, the terrible hitting by the Giants, the umpires, the Giants pitching, Barry Zito, whichever it was, I’m glad they are back home now.
But that begs the question…

cant we agree that Zito has never been consistent or reliable as a Giant? we need to get the average up and manufacture some runs
Zito is so bad. So, so bad. He has almost zero movement and is out there throwing BP speeds.
The most frustrating thing is not only that the Giants continue to throw him out there, he has small flashes of hope (like his three game stretch versus the Cubs, Tigers and Padres).
He and Jonathan Sanchez will be the death of me.
ARoyalPain I prefer Sanchez to him much, much more though.
I grew up in Kentucky, a Pirates fan for some reason. We don't have a lot of Pirates there, but they seemed cool to me. Split my loyalties when Bonds moved to San Francisco and have been a fan ever since. Lucky for me I eventually moved just 2 short hours away from AT&T Park.
Also, am a fan of baseball in general. Trying to get around to all of the ballparks and am about halfway done. Spring Training in Arizona? Check. Baseball Hall of Fame? Check. Call me crazy, but...well, yeah, I guess I just am.
