Yesterday (or maybe the day before, our memory is shot from all the moonshine) we told you that the Giants came to terms with all but two of their arbitration eligible players with the two remaining castaways being Javier Lopez and Andres Torres. We also told you that we expected both of them to avoid arbitration. Ding ding ding. What do we win?
The Giants and Javier Lopez agreed to terms on a one year deal this morning which leaves Torres as the only player left who hasn’t re-upped, although it’s expected he will shortly as well. Terms weren’t disclosed on the deal.
If only our luck was as good in the lotto.
