Lincecum Injured - Panic Button To Your Left
Giants ace Time Lincecum has been removed from starting tonights game versus the Padres due to a sore back. He is considered day-to-day.
This injury comes at a very odd time…some are speculating it’s simply a ploy to give Lincecum a rest before the big series versus the Dodgers and Rockies later this week (and into early next). Others are claiming this is a serious injury that the Giants need to take caution with. Me? I’ve got no fucking clue. I just know it comes out of no place…
The Giants called up highly ranked pitching prospoect Madison Bumgarner to replace Lincecum for tonights game. He is expected to start.
